The machine itself I still have to try, as it just arrived today, but I've heard great things about it.
I came from pressurised baskets on a DL Dinamica, so it took me awhile to get used to using non-pressurised; scales; dosage etc.
But... it's coming together very nicely! Espresso is lovely now. Very happy with the Bambino. Haven't tried the milk frother yet: not a priority for me, but I'm sure it'll be fine for the occasional latte.
EXCELLENT service from Velo I must say - great price, tracked shipment so I could follow it on a map, fast delivery AND a lovely bag of goodies and coffee too (I use the Velo towel constantly; the coffee in my Aeropress - cheers!)
Very straightforward to use, the built in settings work great for me with the Velo pre-ground and the presurised basket. Follow the directions regarding dose and tamping pressure and you'll be good to go.
Following extraction tip in Quick guid,Using velo pre ground coffee ,Flow through dual wall filter basket not evenly distributed.Espresso flowing from left hand hole and from right hand hold is dripping .when using single filter the flow is ok.
