Velo Coffee Roasters - Nariño 225g Coffee Bag Colombia
COFFEE FLAVOUR NOTES
This coffee has notes of caramel, berries and has a well-rounded body with clean and juicy notes.
Known for their rich, mild flavour, today experts consider Colombian coffees among the best in the world. This particular coffee is cultivated in the department of Nariño by 35 smallholder producers belonging to the Santana Project of the Ecoterra SAS Association. The Ecoterra SAS Association has been working in the Department of Nariño for nearly 7 years to support tocal producers by purchasing their coffee and, in turn, improving their quality of life. Providing support in Colombia is particularly important as the topography is unsuitable for mechanisation, so growing high quality washed Arabica comes with very high production costs for the farmers. Their focus is to help farmers improve quality and build a reliable income over the long-term.
