This wonderful coffee won 1 Star at the Great Taste Awards 2021.
This is our first roast of coffee from Uganda, and it is a special one. The Bukhanakwa is a remote farmer group in Mount Elgron, which is steeped in coffee tradition. The community has extremely good coffee, sometimes growing up to 2,100 MASL in rich volcanic soil. What makes this coffee even more special is the involvement of the Zukuka Bora Coffee project. It was set up to support the people of Mt Elgon in many different ways, and while coffee farmers are at the heart of the project, the profits are also used to support JENGA Community Development. JENGA operate a range of projects - including education sponsorship, clean water schemes, savings groups, health promotion and training, and wider farming support. We are delighted to play our small part and help support these amazing farmers and introduce them to our customers.

Lovely coffee. Great flavour and good kick.
Really good beans, wonderful full bodied flavour. I really liked the columbian beans but these would nearly top them! Well worth a go if anyone is looking Is looking to try a new blend.
One of the tastiest coffees I’ve had in some time
